Old Bardstown Village and Civil War Museum

The Museums are located in downtown Bardstown, Kentucky, in the center of the beautiful Bourbon country. Bardstown is just one hour West of Lexington, off the Bluegrass Parkway, and 45 minutes South of Louisville, off Highway 65.

Bardstown is located in Central Kentucky between I-65 and I-75, just off the Bluegrass Parkway. From Lexington take Route 60 to the Bluegrass Parkway. Continue on the Bluegrass until you reach exit 25. Take a right at the exit and follow the road into town. From Louisville take I-65 South to exit 112, and turn left at the exit. Follow this road about 16 miles until you reach Bardstown. The Civil War Museum is located at 310 E. Broadway, Bardstown, KY 40004.

Admission Prices

                                                                            Adults: $15.00                                                                                                                                         $12 per senior, veteran, and 1st responder                                                         Children: (7-15 Years old) $6.00
Children 6 years & under: FREE

Tickets are good for all four venues (Civil War Museum, Historic Bardstown Village, Museum of MidAmerica and Women of the Civil War Museum) and are valid for two consecutive days in order to ensure time to enjoy all museums.

Special rates for groups by appointment and school groups welcome with student discounts available. The Museum ticket office is located at 310 E. Broadway, Bardstown. For questions, please call the Museum at (502) 349-0291. Our special events are posted on Facebook and on our website.

Adult Group Prices:
Groups of 20 or more, seven days a week, 12 months a year with prior reservations. Please call the museum for pricing and availability, (502) 349-0291.

School Groups / Educational Field Trip Rates:
Old Bardstown Village Inc* is open to school groups/ educational institutes of 20 or more, seven days a week, 12 months a year with prior reservations. Group per-student price is $5.00 for all four attractions, with parents and chaperones paying the same price. Teachers and drivers are complimentary.
